About Me
Hello, everyone! My name is Miss Belle, and I am an 18-year-old artist in music and art. I am passionate about expressing myself through various forms of art and bringing beauty into the world. Both music and art have been a significant part of my life since I was a child, and I have dedicated myself to honing my skills and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
From a young age, painting and drawing became my world. The way colors blend and harmonize, the power of ink on paper, and the ability to capture emotions through art is what truly resonates within me. Spending countless hours scribbling on paper, I quickly realized that art was more than just a hobby for me. It became a form of self-expression, a way to communicate without words.
Throughout my creative journey, I have explored different styles and mediums. From sketching and painting to sculpting and digital art, I embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. Each brushstroke or line allows me to convey emotions, tell stories, and spark conversations. In my artistic process, I strive to create work that not only captures beauty but also provokes thought and evokes emotions.
Alongside my love for visual arts, music has always been my refuge. Playing the piano and strumming on my guitar were sacred moments that whisked me away into a realm of pure bliss. As time went on, my passion for music grew, and I delved into honing my skills as a singer and musician. The ability to express my thoughts, emotions, and stories through melodies and lyrics felt like a magical gift. I decided to take all of my skills and put them into one by painting my original music and writing music on the art I have created. Hoping to take these talents and turn them into careers, I moved to Calgary as soon as I graduated for the art scene.
The decision to move to a big city was driven by my thirst for experience and growth. I yearned for opportunities, collaborations, and a community that shared my artistic aspirations. It was a leap of faith, but I knew that following my dreams would lead to a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. Looking ahead, I aspire to establish myself as a recognized artist whose work resonates with people from diverse backgrounds. I dream of exhibiting my art in galleries worldwide, collaborating with fellow artists, and engaging in community projects that promote creativity and self-expression.
In the near future, I plan to combine my passion for art with my love for teaching. I want to empower aspiring artists, particularly children, by sharing my knowledge and nurturing their creative potential. Art is not limited to professionals, and I believe everyone has the ability to explore their artistic side.
Puppy Pursuit
Prince
This is my puppy Prince. Prince not only became my loyal companion but also became the muse behind my venture into the world of pet portraits and digital art.
With a blend of excitement and apprehension, I began my first pet portrait of Prince. Digital art allowed me not only to depict his likeness but to also add my own flare to the piece. I was able to create the portrait capturing my favourite moment of him in a way that I want.
With my first pet portrait completed, I found myself yearning to capture the essence of other beloved pets and bringing the same joy I felt to other owners.
From the wagging tails to the gentle purrs, these paintings serve as a testament to the beauty and unwavering devotion that pets bring into our lives.
Thanks to Prince, my young Cavapoo, my journey as a pet portrait artist began.
Portrait Pets
Shelby
This is my family’s dog Shelby. You may recognize her as one of the faces on my portraits. She has only recently come into my life and I am so glad to have her as part of the family. She is such a beautiful dog and catching her essence was definitely a challenge but in the end she turned out amazing. Shelby is such a sweetheart and is always happy and living her best life. While I was drawing her I was able to get used to my program and work with the many options that digital art offers.
Bruce
This is my sisters dog Bruce. He is also one of the faces on my portraits. He has been in the family for a few years now and is such a sweetheart but can be very grumpy sometimes. He loves walks, sleep, and to snuggle under blankets. He is a very handsome and photogenic dog and so I had to have him as one of my portrait pets. Bruce was one of my most recent drawings and trying to capture all of the wrinkles on his face and his short hair was another challenge and something new but I had a lot of fun experimenting.
